Sultan School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to committees to write the pro/con statements for the Snohomish County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to the District’s bond ballot measure to be considered at the November 5th, 2024 General Election. Those interested should send their name, address, phone number, and which position they represent to: Daniel B. The Board will take action on the appointments at a special meeting on Monday, August 5th, 2024.

On Monday, July 22, 2024, the school board will hold a special budget hearing meeting at 5 pm at Sultan Elementary School's library before the normally scheduled business meeting at 6 pm. The hearing will be open for public input. Thank you!

There may be 3 or more members of the SSD Board of Directors, which makes for a quorum, but no official business will be discussed. Yesterday, at 5 pm, the board of directors held a candidate interview for the one applicant for director district #3. The board deliberated afterward and then voted during the regular meeting at 6 pm for Michael Butler to be the new board director. He was sworn in and began his duties last night. We want to welcome Michael Butler to the Sultan School District!

On Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 6 pm the Sultan School District Board of Directors will meet for an executive session, closed to the public, at the District Office located at 514 4th Street, Sultan, WA 98294, for the Superintendent's evaluation. Additionally, on Monday, June 24th, 2024, at 5 pm, the Sultan School District Board of Directors will hold Board Candidate Interviews which will be open to the public in the Sultan Elementary School Library at 501 Date Street, Sultan, WA 98294.
